Loved by the students. The teacher reads a short situation story which the students are challenged to explain by asking questions that can be answered by only “yes” or “no”. Their goal is to find an explanation from the answers to their questions.

Some examples:

Story 1: Carey bragged that part of her is bigger than her tall friend but weighs nothing.

Explanation: It was her shadow in the early morning.

Story 2: The positive answer to this question is always a lie.

Explanation: Are you asleep?

Story 3: Dr Bates sued his wife for divorce for making him a millionaire.

Explanation: Before his marriage, he was a multi-millionaire; he spent so much that he was reduced to less than two million.

Story 4: Rewards are given to encourage people to find criminals, lost pets, valuables, children and many other things. Some say these rewards work, but there is no reward for the thing that is most often found, yet the finders relish its finding so much that they keep looking, despite the lack of any financial reward.

Explanation: What is most often found is fault.
