An interactive, 'forks of life' adventure. In a moment that she would live to regret, Jane wishes her younger sister Belle would disappear “back where you came from.” Belle had been adopted from China, and very soon after the wish was expressed, Belle disappears. Jane knows that she has to find her, but she has no idea how hard the quest will be. At each turn, she has to make choices, and those put her closer to Belle or can end her search forever. You can help Jane make the choices that will bring success! Congratulations to author V.S. Chin who has been named a 2010 Georgia Author of the Year for this, her first middle-grade children’s novel. Almost 200 people attended the 46th Annual Georgia Author of the Year Awards ceremony held at Kennesaw State University Center on June 19, 2010. Steve Goss, the host of Morning Edition for Public Broadcasting (WABE 90.1 in Atlanta), was the host of this year’s ceremony. The awards are presented by the Georgia Writers Association in several categories, including Fiction, Poetry, and Lifetime Achievement. This prestigious award is considered to be the oldest literary award in the Southeast and has been awarded to such notables as Terry Kay, Steve Berry, and Jimmy Carter. Chin is a resident of Peachtree Corners in Norcross, Ga. She works as a Senior Marketing Manager for Wells Real Estate Funds in Norcross and volunteers her time with Small Dog Rescue and Humane Society. I love all the detailed information you include to help the reader understand better!" H. Meltzer, Orlando, FL
