The Bully Frog Bullying Prevention Program
One third of all children in the United States − over 5.7 million − are estimated to be
involved in bullying as bullies, targets of bullies, or both.
The Bully Frog Program is a national bullying prevention program named for the award-winning children′s book on bullying prevention.
- The uniqueness of Bully Frog is that it begins in nursery school and continues through 8th grade.
- For the past 10 years, Bully Frog has been presented to over 250,000 students nationwide.
The Bully Frog Teaching Stories Package was a winner in the 2004 Legacy Book Awards for outstanding books,
from the Texas Association for the Gifted and Talented.
The authors, Roni Benson and Ginger Lieberman, are authorities on preventing youth violence.
They are co-directors of LIPEN, a Professional Education Network, in New York. They have been
conducting workshops for school staff, students and parents for the past 15 years. Their newest
workshop is on Cyberbullying and Internet Safety. To book them for Bully Frog anti-bullying
workshops and presentations, contact Dr T M Kemnitz, Royal Fireworks Press.
