Writing is a vital skill that helps us convey information and ideas. It plays a fundamental role in shaping how we learn about the world. At the Royal Fireworks Online Learning Community, we recognize the profound significance of mastering academic writing skills. We want to empower students to express themselves with clarity, creativity, and confidence.

That’s why we’re offering a host of academic writing courses and seminars in addition to our award-winning MCT language arts online courses. Dr. Rachel Lott uses the MCT approach, as well as strategies not covered in the MCT curriculum, to prepare students for writing everything from persuasive essays to college applications. Her teaching style, rooted in the Great Books “shared inquiry” method, fosters critical thinking and encourages students to express themselves clearly and with confidence.

Essay Voyage Seminar ✍️
