Evil Toy Tanks Cover

This intriguing novel begins in post-World War II Germany, where seemingly harmless, radio-controlled toy tanks are discovered left over from a secret Nazi factory. Before they mysteriously disappear, it becomes evident that they are deadly dangerous.

Sixty years later, Paris Wheeler attends the American School in Munich, where, to her astonishment, she witnesses the destruction of the school cafeteria—by toy tanks. Of course, no one believes her, until far worse is threatened.

Paris has learned from her grandfather’s last letter to her not only that the tanks are evil and uncontrollable but that she is the only person left to stop them. She must convince her friends to enter the underground tunnels beneath the old factory and face these monsters of destruction.

Find out how Pais and her friends outwit the evil toy tanks to save us all!

Tom Townsend is a writer, an expert on military vehicles, and a film producer. He is the creator and executive producer of Military Motor Pool, a cable TV show about tanks and other military vehicles. He is one of the best-known authors of young adult fiction, and many of his books are used in school systems, particularly in the Southwest. Like the characters in Evil Toy Tanks, he attended high school at the Munich American School in Germany, where his father was an Army officer. He is the author of more than two dozen other books, including two published by Royal Fireworks Press that are set during World War II: Gypsy Prince: War Horse and Nadia of the Nightwitches. He is also the author of the Fairie Ring Series. He and his wife live on a cattle ranch near Rusk, Texas.
