This is a saddle-stitched (stapled) edition of this book. Saddle-stitched books are more durable and less expensive than perfect-bound (glued) books. This book also comes in a perfect-bound edition, which has the advantage of a printed spine so that it can be found readily on a bookshelf. (See below.)

This book also comes in a version that is printed with a special dyslexia-friendly font that is easier for some children to read. Additionally, there is an accompanying instructor guidebook to help children implement the strategies they are learning in the student book. (See below.)
