Tim Crumrin

Tim Crumrin is a lifelong historian and author. He holds a B.A. in European History and an M.A. in American History from Indiana State University. From 1992 to 1996, he was Adjunct Professor of History at St. Mary-of-the-Woods College. He served for twenty-five years as historian and a director at Conner Prairie Museum in Fishers, Indiana, retiring from the museum in 2014. He has written or edited more than thirty-five scholarly publications and has made numerous presentations at conferences sponsored by the Organization of American Historians and the Indiana Historical Society, among others. In addition to winning two national awards of merit from the American Association of State and Local History, he received a national Telly award as writer and director of the PBS documentary Harvesting the Past. Notably, he received the prestigious Eli Lilly Lifetime Achievement in Indiana History Award in 2014 for his contributions to history. He is President and Principal Consultant of the Historiker Consulting Group, a historical consulting firm dedicated to telling the story of history.
