Dr. Lott has a professional background as an editor with more than twenty academic publications under her belt, as well as extensive experience guiding students in developing their writing skills. Essay Voyage Seminar ✍️
Student Ages: 11–13
Class Meetings: First Wednesday of each month, 1:00 p.m. Eastern Time
Dates: September 4 – December 4, 2024, January 15 – May 7, 2025
Cost: $550 per semester/$1,000 full year

-Learn the basics of essay structure, thesis statements, and guided research.
-Get a gentle introduction to MLA formatting.
-Practice writing essays on various topics.

Advanced Essay Writing Seminar ✍️

Class Meetings: Second Wednesday of each month, 1:00 p.m. Eastern Time

Cost: $550 per semester/$1,000 full year

College and Career Application Seminar 🎓
Student Ages: 17–18
Class Meetings: Last Wednesday of each month, 1:00 p.m. Eastern Time
Dates: August 28 – November 20, 2024
Cost: $550

-Design resumes and cover letters.
-Draft and polish a personal essay.
-Compile a mock application package.
-Participate in a mock interview.

College-Level Writing Seminar 📚
Student Ages: 17–18
Class Meetings: Third Wednesday of each month, 1:00 p.m. Eastern Time
Dates: January 15 – April 16, 2025
Cost: $550

-Learn undergraduate-level research methods.
-Get an introduction to professional academic scholarship.
-Develop substantive theses and conduct independent research.
