Announcing an online course with esteemed instructor Dr. Rachel Lott in the Royal Fireworks Online Learning Community’s Spring Semester: Classical Logic.

Classical logic is the most commonly used form of logic, influencing a wide range of the ideas that we hold today.

This course introduces classical logic in the spirit of Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland. With no prior experience required, students will learn the foundations of classical logic, including categorical syllogisms and basic propositional logic. Weekly exercises will draw from a range of literary and fantasy-themed scenarios that require students to identify, formulate, and analyze logical forms. Students will solve puzzles and encounter paradoxes, all while learning the strengths and weaknesses of different logical systems.

When: Live online classes will be held on Tuesdays at 7:00 p.m. Eastern Time from the week of January 9th to the week of May 12th. Recordings will be made available for those unable to attend live lessons.
