The Royal Fireworks Online Learning Community is excited to announce that we are once again offering the course Latin Is FUNdamental! in our summer 2024 session! Led by the esteemed Dr. Frances R. Spielhagen, this course offers a captivating journey into the world of Latin, providing students ages 8–12 with a solid foundation in the language that shaped Western civilization.

In this course, students will:

• Explore Latin words and their English derivatives
• Learn about Latin sentence construction and word usage
• Understand the influence of Latin on French, Italian, and Spanish
• Gain insights into the rich cultural tapestry of ancient Rome
