A Project-Based Introduction to Computer Coding Using JavaScript (August 8-12)

JavaScript is a computer program that is widely used for translating keyboard clicks and mouse movements into computer instructions. In this workshop, students will focus on using the essential elements of a computer program to develop an online tip calculator. Once students understand how to create the calculator, they’ll be well on their way to creating even more sophisticated programs!

Live Classes: Monday through Friday, August 8-12, 2:00-4:00 p.m. Eastern Time (Note that each live class meets for two hours.)

Materials: Students will need a desktop or laptop computer.
