Creative Problem Solving through Art

This course will allow students to develop problem-solving skills through creative assignments with unique constraints. Classes will consist of discussions, problem-solving exercises, and technique demonstrations.

Live Classes: Tuesdays, 11:00 a.m. Eastern Time

Student Expectations: Students are expected to complete one artwork per week for homework and to participate in the live classes.

Student Support: The instructor is available via email.

Materials/Supplies: Students will need a sketchbook (white paper, minimum 10”x12”), a set of graphite pencils, an eraser for drawing (such as Caran d’Ache Technik, Pink Pearl, Staedtler, Faber Castell), and one color medium, such as colored pencils, watercolor pencils, or oil pastels.
