In this workshop, students will read thought experiments that introduce controversial philosophical issues. They will then divide into teams and debate both sides of each issue. The instructor will present and encourage successful argument strategies. As a bonus, the students will be able to choose some of the debate topics.

Students are encouraged to take as many of these workshops as they like. All three workshops use the same text, which contains several debate topics, so each workshop will be different.
