Elementary Computer Coding (June 20-24)

In this workshop, students will learn the computer coding language Scratch right from scratch. Scratch is a visual programming language developed by MIT that allows kids to create their own interactive stories, games, and animations. As the week progresses, students will be amazed at how much they can do on the computer!

Students do not need to have any coding experience but should be computer literate. In order to participate fully, it is recommended that students have a computer for the live online classes and a separate tablet to use for their projects so that they can see the live lessons while they are working.

Live Classes: Monday through Friday, June 20-24, 1:00 p.m. Eastern Time

Materials: Students will need to have an account on http://scratch.mit.edu.
