Elementary Life and Physical Sciences

This course will cover basic life science and physical science concepts taught in later elementary science classes, including structure and function in living organisms, energy conversion, wave properties, and the transmission of information.

Live Classes: Thursdays, 4:00 p.m.

Student Expectations: Students will read, watch videos, and submit simple projects to demonstrate their understanding of the material, applying what they learn to natural phenomena.

Student Support: The instructor is available by email.

Feedback/Assessment: The instructor will evaluate projects and give the students feedback.

Materials/Supplies: Students will need a Slinky or similar spring toy. There may be other materials needed, which the instructor will communicate to the students.
