  • Instructor Arlene Prince
  • Code LS101W
  • Student Ages 10–18
  • Term Spring Workshops 2025
  • Day Tuesday–Thursday
  • Time 2:00 P.M.

In this experiential workshop, students will learn a variety of mindfulness techniques that will enable them to be fully present, without judgment, in whatever their body is doing, wherever they are. The goal is to empower them with tools to live happy and healthy lives by becoming aware of their inner resources and skills, which will stand them in good stead in our often overwhelming and stressful world.

Class Meetings: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, 2:00 p.m. Eastern Time
Dates: May 27th, 28th, 29th

Materials/Supplies: For this workshop, students should bring a cell phone or an electronic device, if possible, to record the techniques being taught, as well as a notebook to record their experiences. Optimally, they should attend the workshop in a private room, free from disturbances so they can concentrate. They may also wish to lie on a bed, sofa, or yoga mat to be comfortable while learning the relaxation techniques.
