THIS IS A ONE-SEMESTER COURSE.

In this course, students will dive into the exciting art of mathematical origami, where they’ll learn to fold paper into three-dimensional mathematical shapes. Not only will they enjoy creating new models in each session, but they’ll also gain a deeper understanding of math concepts and improve their ability to visualize geometric shapes. Along the way, they’ll uncover how patience, persistence, and perseverance play vital roles in reaching successful outcomes.

This is an interactive course, designed for kids who like working with their hands and “making stuff.”

Class Meetings: Thursdays, 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time
Dates: September 4 – December 18, 2025
