Landscapes in Oil Pastel Workshop (May 24-26)

In this workshop, students will learn to create calming beaches and vast fields of wildflowers using oil pastels. They will complete a minimum of two works of art along with the instructor while learning the basics of drawing with oil pastel and color mixing. New landscapes will be drawn each time this workshop is offered, so those who have previously attended are welcome to enroll again. This workshop is suitable for participants at all skill levels.

Materials: Students will need an oil pastel set with a minimum of 15 colors. Please do not bring chalk pastels. Students will also need a pad of canvas paper that is at least 7″x9”. Other paper will work, but the oil will eventually bleed around the edges of the drawing. Oil pastel fixative is suggested to preserve finished works but is not required.

Live Classes: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, May 24th, 25th, and 26th, 11:00 a.m. Eastern Time
