Math for Gifted Students 103

THIS IS A ONE-SEMESTER COURSE.

In this course, students will explore rational, irrational, and mixed numbers, as well as decimal fractions and percents. Equivalent fractions, ratios, and proportions will also be covered, along with a continuation of geometric design and modular origami.

Class Meetings: Wednesdays, 1:00 p.m. Eastern Time
Dates: September 4 – December 18

Student Support: The instructor is available via email.

Materials: Students will use the Hands-On Elementary Math Kits 1 and 2 that they used in Math 101 and Math 102 (available at zoidandcompany.com).

Prerequisites: Students must have taken the course Math for Gifted Students 102 or have an equivalent level of knowledge.
