Reducing Stress through Mindfulness

This is an eight-week course.

Being a kid isn’t easy these days. Children deal with a lot of stress, from both external sources and pressures they feel internally. This course will show students that they have the power to control their own stress levels and equip them with the tools to do so. Students will learn mindfulness exercises and methods that build emotional resiliency and increase concentration skills. Each live class will include group discussions, a lesson, and practice.

Live Classes: Tuesdays, 1:00 p.m. Eastern Time

Student Expectations: This course is conversation-based, and students will be expected to participate in the discussions. They will also be expected to complete the assignments, keep an online journal, and do meditation exercises via recordings and links outside of class.
