The Racial Wealth Gap in the United States

This course offers an introductory deep dive into one of the biggest challenges facing American society today: the racial wealth gap. The course is divided into three sections. During the first section, students will review the social, political, and legal policies that led to the racial wealth gap in America as we know it today. In the second section, the students will examine where the country is now and the policies that are currently being enforced. In the final section, the students will analyze and present their ideas for closing the racial wealth gap within one generation.
