Logic-Math Exercises for Elementary-Age Children

Logic-Math Exercises for Elementary-Age Children brings the popular Logic-Math series to a more advanced level, with exercises designed for children in grades 3-4. The math concepts in this book include addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals, percent, graphs, geometry, volume, money, time, and more, all as a means of mastering critical-thinking skills rather than as computational challenges.

The exercises encompass a variety of formats and topics, many of which include pictorial elements for those children who are visual learners. Some of the lessons require basic computation, others require little more than an attention to organization and the process of elimination, and still others offer a level of challenge that will require children to conduct basic research to discover the answers. Children who practice thinking logically and critically through exercises like these will soon be applying their critical-thinking skills to other areas of learning and life.

For those children who struggle to read because of a reading disorder, we offer a version in which the text in the book is set in a dyslexic-friendly font that may assist some children in reading the lessons.
