A Look Ahead to Basic Concepts of Intermediate Algebra
This course is an essential gateway to enable students to succeed in higher mathematics, and as such, a great deal of time will be allocated to making certain that each student understands all aspects of the material. The course is designed to provide an introduction to the subject, a chance for your child to get a jump on the math that he or she will be doing in the upcoming year.
Topics covered in this course include a review of basic algebra topics, complex numbers, quadratics and conic sections, polynomials, multivariable expressions, sequences and series, identities, inequalities, exponents and logarithms, piecewise-defined functions, functional equations, and much more.
This course is set for the appropriate level of difficulty for children who are in the tenth grade.
Live Classes: Tuesdays, 3:00 p.m. Eastern Time, from June 8th to July 27th. Students unable to attend a live class will be able to access a recording of the class.
