A Review of the Important Topics in Pre-Algebra
This course is designed to provide a review of pre-algebra, an opportunity for your child to go over the important topics covered during the last year. Students will understand the necessary problem-solving strategies that will enable them to solve algebraic equations. Topics include set, numeration, operations, pre-algebra, pre-geometry, measurement, and probability and statistics. The course will cover a wide variety of areas: primes and divisors, fractions, equations and inequalities, decimals, ratios and proportions, unit conversions and rates, percentages, square roots, geometric shapes, statistics, and counting and elementary probability.
This course is set for the appropriate level of difficulty for children who will be entering the sixth grade.
Live Classes: Wednesdays, 11:00 a.m. Eastern Time, from June 3rd to July 29th. Students unable to attend a live class will be able to access a recording of the class.
