This is the second half of a two-semester course that began in Fall 2020.
This course is an essential gateway to enable students to succeed in higher mathematics, and as such, a great deal of time (including individual special attention) will be allocated to making certain that each student understands all aspects of the material.
Topics covered will include a review of basic algebra topics, complex numbers, quadratics and conic sections, polynomials, multivariable expressions, sequences and series, identities, inequalities, exponents and logarithms, piecewise-defined functions, functional equations, and much more.
This course is set for the appropriate level of difficulty for children who would be in the tenth grade if they were in a public school.
Live Classes: Thursdays, 2:00 p.m. Eastern Time, from January 14th to May 13th. Students unable to attend a live class will be able to access a recording of the class.
Student Support: The instructor is available via email.
Materials: Students will need the book Intermediate Algebra (available at https://artofproblemsolving.com).
