This course is an essential gateway to enable students to succeed in higher mathematics, and as such, a great deal of time (including individual special attention) will be allocated to making certain that each student understands all aspects of the material.
Topics covered will include a review of basic algebra topics, complex numbers, quadratics and conic sections, polynomials, multivariable expressions, sequences and series, identities, inequalities, exponents and logarithms, piecewise-defined functions, functional equations, and much more.
This course is set for the appropriate level of difficulty for children who would be in the tenth grade if they were in a public school.
Live Classes: Thursdays, 2:00 p.m. Eastern Time. The first semester begins the week of August 17th and ends the week of December 14th. The second semester begins the week of January 11th, 2021, and ends the week of May 10th. Students unable to attend a live class will be able to access a recording of the class.
