Creative Writing III
In this course, students will conduct a rigorous exploration of the basics of plot, characterization, and setting. They will read a novel to examine it for these writing elements. There will be some writing assignments based on discussion and readings, and the instructor will read and assist the students on an individual basis with their own projects.
Live Classes: Mondays, 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Eastern Time, from August 19th to December 16th
Assignments: Vary by class
Student Expectations: Students must be able to do assignments using a keyboard (no handwritten assignments) and be comfortable accessing the internet.

Materials/Supplies: Students will need the books A Fairly Creative Guide to Telling Tales and The Spirit Walker. Students will also need to have an email account and access to a computer with audio and video capabilities.
