A Three Kings Celebration Workshop

In this workshop, students will spend the first meeting learning about the origin of Three Kings’ Day and its special meaning, not only for Spanish-speaking people but for people around the world. On day two, students will learn about the depiction of the Three Kings in classical paintings, considering such questions as:
- What do the Three Kings symbolize?
- What do they represent in today’s world?
- Were they wise men or magicians, and is there a difference?
During the third and final meeting, students will learn about the food, decorations, and formal dressing for a traditional Three Kings holiday event.
