Introduction to Spanish

The main objective of this course is for students to feel comfortable with a beginning level of communication in Spanish—an elementary level of language acquisition that will allow them to understand a native speaker of Spanish in short conversations and to make themselves understood in everyday life.
Live Classes: Tuesdays, 2:00 p.m. Eastern Time, from June 8th to July 27th. Students must attend the live classes.
Student Expectations: Students will be required to participate in the live classes. They also must complete all assignments and projects.
Student Support: The instructor is available via email.
Feedback/Assessment: Feedback will be provided on assignments and classwork.
Materials: Students must have a good Spanish-English dictionary, a class notebook, and a pencil.
