This is the second half of a two-semester course that began in Fall 2020
This course is for children who are ready to begin algebra. With patience and a steady application of effort through the year, students will be able to master the wide range of topics that fall under the heading of “Introductory Algebra.”
Through the year, students will be presented with many problem-solving strategies to apply to a broad introduction to basic algebra, including linear equations, ratios, quadratic equations, special factorizations, complex numbers, graphing linear and quadratic equations, linear and quadratic inequalities, functions, polynomials, exponents and logarithms, absolute value, and sequences and series.
This course is set for the appropriate level of difficulty for children who would be in the sixth grade if they were in a public school.
Live Classes: Wednesdays, 12:30 p.m. Eastern Time, from January 13th to May 12th. Students unable to attend a live class will be able to access a recording of the class.
