This course will allow students to acquire a basic understanding of Spanish grammar, vocabulary, history, and culture through listening, speaking, writing, and reading exercises that will prepare them for the more rigorous and interactive experiences of Elementary Spanish and Spanish I-IV.
Live Classes: Tuesdays, 2:00 p.m. OR Wednesdays, 7:00 p.m. Eastern Time (students can choose which time works best for them each week). Fall semester begins the week of August 16th and ends the week of December 13th. Spring semester 2022 begins the week of January 10th and ends the week of May 9th. Students must attend the live classes.
Student Expectations: Students will be required to participate in the live classes. They also must complete all assignments and projects.

Feedback/Assessment: Feedback will be provided on assignments and classwork.
Materials: Students must have a good Spanish-English dictionary, a class notebook, and a pencil.
