This one-semester course will allow students to acquire a basic understanding of Spanish grammar, vocabulary, history, and culture through listening, speaking, writing, and reading exercises that will prepare them for the more rigorous and interactive experiences of Elementary Spanish and Spanish I-IV.
Live Classes: Tuesdays, 2:00 p.m. Eastern Time, from January 12th to May 11th. Students must attend the live classes.
Student Expectations: Students will be required to participate in the live classes. They also must complete all assignments and projects.
Student Support: The instructor is available via email.
Feedback/Assessment: Feedback will be provided on assignments and classwork.
Materials: Students must have a good Spanish-English dictionary, a class notebook, and a pencil.
