This course will allow students to acquire a basic understanding of Spanish grammar, vocabulary, history, and culture through eight virtual visits. Students will learn basic expressions and vocabulary as they visit eight different destinations of the Spanish-speaking world: the Camino pilgrimage to Santiago, a rainforest, a colonial city, a market, a traditional festival, a museum, a Roman aqueduct, and a medieval castle.
Live Classes: Tuesdays, 2:00 p.m. Eastern Time, from June 2nd to July 21st. Students must attend the live classes.
Materials: Students must have a good Spanish-English dictionary, a class notebook, and a pencil.
