Meditation for Children and Teens
Research has shown that a consistent meditation practice has a positive effect on the educational and behavioral performance of both children and adults. Some businesses and even some school systems are incorporating meditation into their programs to increase concentration, self-awareness, and well-being.
This course offers a non-instructional meditation group for students of all ages and disciplines. Each class session will be different, focusing on mindful awareness or guided visuals, and will offer the students a structured meditation practice and experience that they can build on after the semester ends.
Live Classes: Students will meet for a half hour on Tuesdays at 2:30 p.m. Eastern Time. The course runs from June 2nd to July 28th. Students unable to attend a live class will be able to access a recording of the class.
Assignments: There will be no assignments or homework. This course is for the students to practice as they see necessary.

Prerequisites: None. The students are not required to have any previous experience with meditation or mindfulness training.
