Spanish IV – Advanced Spanish: Literature

This course offers an in-depth study of Spanish to help students attain an intermediate to advanced level of proficiency. It will involve conversation exercises, reading, and writing assignments.
Live Classes: Wednesdays, 2:30 p.m. Eastern Time. Students must attend the live classes. The first semester begins the week of August 17th and ends the week of December 14th. The second semester begins the week of January 11th, 2021, and ends the week of May 10th.
Student Expectations: Students will submit weekly assignments, complete unit quizzes, and work with dialogues and class exercises. Students should study and practice for at least twenty minutes every day.

Feedback/Assessment: Feedback will be provided on assignments, quizzes, and classwork.
Materials: All necessary reading and study materials will be provided and posted online. Students must have a good Spanish-English dictionary, a class notebook, and a journal.
Prerequisites: Students should have completed Spanish III or obtain permission from the instructor.
