Breath Magic: Breathing Techniques for Self-Regulation Workshop
In this workshop, students will learn how to use breathing techniques to promote stress relief, emotional regulation, and relaxation. They will begin by learning about the body’s physiological responses to stress. Next they will practice five breathing techniques and discuss their individual benefits. The last session will focus on how the students can use breathing as a meditative vehicle. Every session will include a lesson and a breathing exercise, plus an optional evening assignment.
