Create Your Own Mindfulness Practice and Calendar Workshop
A daily mindfulness practice offers many benefits, but how are kids supposed to fit another thing into their schedules? This workshop will introduce several different mindfulness exercises and allow children to craft a realistic practice that works for them. Each session will include a lesson and a practice, and participants will leave the workshop with a written schedule of exercises designed by the participants themselves.
Session 1: An introduction to mindfulness and its benefits
Session 2: Mindfulness practice techniques
Session 3: Creating your own practice and mindfulness calendar
Materials: For Session 3, students will need paper (any size), as well as craft materials such as markers, glitter, stickers, etc.
