Kathleen Casper Reed, J.D., M.Ed.

Kathleen Casper Reed, J.D., M.Ed., works as an attorney, education consultant, principal, and director of a nonprofit nature-based learning center in Maine. She is the former national secretary of SENG (Supporting Emotional Needs of the Gifted), president of the Florida Association for the Gifted (FLAG), the Florida Department of Education’s Gifted Education Specialist, the WAETAG vice president/president-elect, the Tacoma Public Schools’ Highly Capable Program Facilitator, and a member of the Maine AEYC’s Leadership in ECE, Advocacy, and Policy (LEAP) Program. She was on the executive board of Florida’s Pasco Hernando Early Learning Coalition for many years and has an extensive history as an early learning educator and early learning center director. She created the Casper Assessment for Social Emotional Skills (CASES) and is the author of the OneWorld Gifted blog. She is also a parent, grandparent, and former foster parent.
