Ian Boyd

Ian Boyd holds a bachelor’s degree from The University of Texas at Austin and a Master of Science in History from the University of Edinburgh. He is currently finishing a Ph.D. in the French section of the Modern and Medieval Languages and Linguistics Department at the University of Cambridge, where he works on the role of the subterranean in eighteenth-century French thought and the transformation of Parisian stone quarries into the Paris Catacombs. He has taught a variety of history and literature courses at the University of Cambridge, Université Paris-Cité, and Astra Nova School.
