This is a beginner-friendly, project-based course designed to introduce students to AI and coding through the programming platform Scratch. Students will explore how AI works, learn prompt-writing skills, and build interactive games and creative projects using block-based coding. They’ll use AI to generate ideas, characters, dialogue, quizzes, and game logic while developing problem-solving, creativity, and computational thinking skills. They’ll create Scratch mini-games, an AI quiz game, smart decision-based games, and an original AI-inspired final project.
