THIS IS A TWO-SEMESTER COURSE.

This introduction to AI is designed to give students an in-depth introduction to the possibilities of AI and to enable them to go from using AI tools in coding and debugging to building AI-powered applications of their own.

Class Meetings: Wednesdays, 2:00 p.m. Eastern Time
Fall Semester: October 14 – December 16, 2026
Spring Semester: January 13 – May 12, 2027

Student Expectations: Students will work on projects during the live class meetings and between meetings as homework.

Student Support: The instructor will be available during the class meetings for questions and between classes via email.

Feedback/Assessment: The instructor will provide coaching and will assess all student work, but students will be able to see for themselves if their projects work.

Materials/Supplies: Students will need to have a computer for this course; a tablet will not be sufficient.
