Level 6: The Lens II Level
For Students Ages 13+ or in Grades 8-9
In Level 6, the Lens II Level, the grammar, vocabulary, and writing strands continue to increase in difficulty, building cumulatively on the previous level so that students are steadily reinforcing their knowledge while simultaneously expanding and deepening it. The largest step up is in the poetics book, where students are asked to consider the concept of beauty, particularly in the context of the works of Plato. Students who completed Level 5 will find this level challenging but rewarding; however, there is enough review that even students new to the program will be able to complete it.
