Humans are naturally curious about the universe and our place in it. And since the dawn of humanity, we’ve developed incredible technologies to uncover knowledge about what’s out there. Still, however, the mystery of outer space remains, and many young people in particular are curious about it. When that curiosity is guided by an experienced instructor who knows how to turn wonder into understanding, science becomes more than facts—it becomes discovery.

In the upcoming school year, Royal Fireworks Online Learning invites students into hands-on, discussion-rich science courses designed to nurture that sense of awe while building real knowledge with an instructor who can inspire them to fall in love with science.

Margaret “Peggy” Bohlin brings extraordinary real-world experience to the classroom. As a teacher liaison for the Space Foundation, a volunteer with NASA’s Solar System Ambassador Program, a Space Station Ambassador, and president of the Roswell Astronomy Club, she’s one of the foremost educators in primary science education. In 2023 she was even named one of Disney’s 100 Inspiring Teachers. Ms. Bohlin knows how to translate big scientific ideas into meaningful, hands-on learning for students. Her courses don’t just teach facts; they invite children into the adventure of discovery.

Introduction to Astronomy: Our Spectacular Solar System 
Student Ages: 8–11
