Social-Emotional Resources for Kids
Are your kids feeling the stress of back-to-school? Let them learn how different people from all over the world have navigated the challenges of life from ancient times to the present. Whether you’re looking for an online course or books to use at home, we’ve got you covered!
Though most of the courses in our Online Learning Community have already begun, a few of them start in the coming weeks, so it’s not too late to enroll your child in a full semester of online learning. In addition, most of the live classes are recorded, so kids who enroll late can easily catch up. To help them navigate social-emotional issues, check out the following courses:
- World Religions and Eastern Philosophy courses for children ages 10-18
- Reducing Stress through Mindfulness course for children ages 9-18, which begins Tuesday, September 6
Books to help balance stress for kids:
For young children ages 4-7, we offer an assortment of fully illustrated, easy-to-read mindfulness books that will guide your child down the path of better self-regulation. These books are now available in a package for your convenience. And don’t forget: All packages ship free!
If you’re looking for an approach to mindfulness that has an Eastern philosophy base, the books The Day the Thought Bubbles Got in the Way and The Day the Thoughts Got Stuck are a good fit for the younger crowd. And for pre-teens and teens, The Circle of Happiness offers an in-depth approach to Eastern philosophy in the format of a witty story. This book comes with a guidebook to help parents and teachers guide students who read the book, but it’s also suitable for the students themselves, providing them with insight to help them understand and implement the lessons they learn through the novel.
This year, let Royal Fireworks Press help de-stress your student!
