Strong Math for Serious Students

As students move into the higher levels of mathematics, the margin for shallow understanding narrows. Advanced topics like pre-calculus and calculus require more than the ability to follow steps; they demand conceptual clarity, precise reasoning, and the guidance of someone who truly understands the structure of the subject. An expert instructor helps students see why formulas work, how ideas connect, and where common misunderstandings arise.

Instructor Adrian Grishby brings both deep mathematical training and a passion for teaching to Royal Fireworks Online Learning. With a B.S. in mathematics and a Master of Arts in Teaching in Mathematics Education from Georgia State University, Adrian has worked extensively with gifted, nontraditional, and highly motivated students. His background in accounting and actuarial work informs his practical approach, while his classroom experience ensures conceptual clarity. In every course, students are expected not just to complete problems but to understand the mathematics behind them.

Pre-Calculus
Student Ages: 14–18
Class Meetings: Tuesdays, 6:00 p.m. Eastern Time
