We’re excited to announce a newly added course at Royal Fireworks Online Learning: Spanish 4, with popular instructor and native speaker Liz Contreras!

For students ready to move beyond intermediate language study, this advanced course offers the opportunity to strengthen speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills through immersive instruction conducted primarily in Spanish.

Spanish 4
Student Ages: 8–18
Class Meetings: Tuesdays, 6:00 p.m. Eastern Time
Dates: September 15 – December 15, 2026; January 12 – May 11, 2027
Cost: $575 per semester/$1,100 full year

Course Highlights: 
– Build advanced speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.
– Communicate primarily in Spanish during class meetings.
– Explore the history, culture, literature, and traditions of the Spanish-speaking world.
– Strengthen spontaneous communication and critical thinking skills.
– Work with authentic cultural materials and real-world language applications.
– Develop interpretive, interpersonal, and presentational communication abilities.

Prerequisite: Students should have completed Spanish 3 or have equivalent experience.

Note that Liz Contreras offers three levels below this one if Spanish 4 is too challenging for your child. Spanish 1, 2, and 3 all provide deep linguistic and cultural instruction to help enrich and expand the language learning.
